Bollywood songs are written using rich cultural languages of Middle East and India, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and now even English and Spanish have been added into the mix. और इनका ब्लाग है - दिल की आवाज । ब्लाग पर जाने हेतु क्लिक करें ।
Most of the original Bollywood songs are/were written in Urdu and Persian.
For each song there are multiple variations. I try to use movie version of the song postings on youtube to create the lyrics. Many Internet sites have
partial lyrics that I have copied and corrected to best of my ability. There are many sites on the Internet that I use in order to check the lyrics.
I am in debt to the writers at http://smriti.com/hindi-songs/ – Hindi Songs Archive, I have used lyrics from this site for much of my work. Words in some of songs are difficult to decipher so readers with keener ears and better mastery of the languages are requested to point out any updates and I will correct the lyrics accordingly.
Music is a universal language that can bridge gaps in understanding and facilitate the development of tolerance. I strive as best as I can to remain true to this belief.

I am using Arial Unicode font, and Google utilities to write Hindi. I found Google Hindi to be best supported across multiple systems and browsers… Best is Firefox browser - Mac OS 10.6: Firefox 4.x ( works ) Safari 5/Mac : Limited Hindi Font ( Arial Unicode ) support, complex “matra’s” are not shown correctly.
MS Office ( does not work ) ( iWork ) Pages ’09 ,word processor program ( works )
Windows Vista: IE 7 ( works ) Firefox 4.x ( works very well )
Safari 5.x ( works very well ) MS Office ( does not fully work )
iPhone, iTouch, iPad: Limited Arial Unicode Hindi Font supported in Safari browser. All Matra’s are not shown correctly. Use PDF or Opera Brower with option..
Apple’s mobile devices are in general still unable to correctly display Unicode Indic scripts like Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Tibetan. But it turns that the Opera Mini browser can solve that problem for web pages by turning the text into a graphic. To activate this feature, you have to type opera:config in the browser address window. A page of settings will then come up, and you go to the very bottom one called “Use Bitmap Fonts for Complex Scripts”, set that to Yes, and hit the Save button.
Word Processing Mac OS X:
Microsoft and Adobe applications for Mac do not support the Mac OS rendering engine (ATSUI/Core Text), hence AAT unicode fonts (such as Devanagari MT) do not even appear in MS Office for Mac v11 and later. Conversely, Mac OS X does not support Microsoft’s rendering engine (Uniscribe) so documents containing OpenType unicode fonts (such as Jaipur Unicode) do not display properly in any application on the Mac platform (including MS Word). In other words, it impossible to read or produce Hindi Urdu documents in Microsoft Office for Mac applications.
The are working alternatives to MS Office. OpenOffice is a free, cross-platform, open-source office suite. Apple’s iWork is also a popular alternative. If you receive a Word document with Opentype unicode fonts, open it with one of these two
applications and convert the text’s font to Devanagari MT. The text will be correctly rendered. If you are simply typing a document for print or PDF distrubtion both of these applications will work fine.
If all else fails, OS X’s built-in Text Edit is a little, swiss-army text editor that can handle almost anything you throw at it. It does not, however, have many of the convenient features of a full fledged word processor.
